EPOS

Epos Loudspeakers is a part of FinkTeam which in turn is an adjunct to Europe’s premier loudspeaker design consultancy, Fink Audio Consulting. Fink Audio Consulting create many speakers across a wide range of markets and prices. Loudspeaker manufacturers hire us because of our expertise, experience and extremely well-equipped simulation and measurement facilities. But we are the extension of many speaker makers own R&D teams. So much of our work is confidential. Only if the client elects to mention our involvement are we credited.

When we began, in 2014, designing loudspeakers for ourselves, we envisaged it to demonstrate our capabilities and as an internal reference. Then we were loudspeaker engineers, not loudspeaker manufacturers – that changed with the successful introduction of the first three Fink Team Models. WM4, Borg and KIM. 

In 2020 we purchased the Epos Loudspeaker brand from its then owner Michael Creek. To us restarting EPOS could only mean re-creating the most famous model, the ES-14. This was a 2-way speaker in a fairly big cabinet and classic looking cabinet, to be used on a stand that could be made for it.
