4th generation RP driver

The RP technology, which was developed over 50 years ago and refined over the years, is now entering its 4th generation. A new printed coil shape was used to increase and equalize the vibration range of the flat membrane. In addition, the number of magnets surrounding the membrane has been significantly increased. In addition, the components of the magnetic circuit have been redesigned to optimize the distribution of magnetic flux, suppress unnecessary resonances and achieve even better transient response. Designed using various technologies that have evolved over the years, this 4th generation driver offers increased sensitivity, balanced frequency response and excellent transient response. Soundstage and localization have also been improved by accurately and sensitively reproducing elements across the entire frequency spectrum. The new driver is also more efficient and requires less power from the headphone amplifier to achieve peak performance.


Symmetrical housing that allows cable connection on both sides of the head without compromising sound quality

Both the left and right housings are equipped with connectors for the included cable, allowing the cable to be connected to either the left or right side depending on the usage environment. Since the left and right cabinets are symmetrical, the difference in sound characteristics usually caused by the different internal structures of the two sides is eliminated. The connector is equipped with a 4-pin 3.5mm connector that supports balanced connections, increasing usability and versatility. High-quality OFC conductors are used for the cable. Optional balanced cables are available: φ2.5: ET-RP2.5BL, φ4.4: ET-RP4.4BL, XLR: ETRPXLR.

Comfortable ear pads

The new, thicker ear pads have less elasticity and are shaped around the ear, making them comfortable to wear even for long periods of listening.
